In 2020 I started this journey of painting during a period of isolation as the pandemic raged around the world. Having battled through multiple sclerosis, pediatric cancer and my wife's cardiac arrest, the pandemic was just another layer of turbulence.

 

God gave me painting to handle the stresses of life. In 2024, My father, pastor Del Scrivner, a longtime pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship in Olympia, WA, collapsed in our kitchen and suffered from a long hospital stay and recovery. During this time, my father asked me to speak from my heart and record a few messages. These messages are a variety in nature. I pray that they encourage you and draw you to Jesus.​
