A vibrant sunset casts a warm glow over a snowy landscape, where bare trees stand alongside evergreens. A river cuts through the terrain, flanked by snow drifts and patches of exposed earth.

"Snow Creek Paradise" is an oil on canvas painting, completed early in my painting journey (June 2021). This snow scene was painted one year after I first started this journey during the pandemic. Originally composed on an 18 by 24-inch canvas, this scene features a distant forest scene partially covered by early morning fog. An icy-cold creek leads the viewer back towards the sun in this stark winter scene.
