Description of artwork 
A dramatic seascape is depicted with turbulent ocean waves crashing against rocky shores under a vibrant sunset sky. A lighthouse and a small cabin stand on the cliff. “Undaunted” reflects our storms of life and the beauty of the raging waters around us. What doesn’t destroy often strengthens. The lighthouse has stood the test in the storm as the new dawn of hope peaks just over the distant turbulent clouds.
 
"Undaunted" features a distant lighthouse with a cabin nestled among the trees and surrounded by mist. Primed with a flat rose-colored acrylic and left to dry, this 18 by 24-inch canvas was then covered and blended with an assortment of soft oils paints. I felt a sunrise or sunset added to the composition, so I went with a dominant light to balance out the darker background. Various size prints are now available. Recently updated with a focus on darker versus light throughout the painting.
