A turbulent sea crashes against the rocky shore under a dramatically swirling sky. Shades of purple and pink dominate the scene, creating an ominous yet beautiful atmosphere. Composed on an 16 by 20-inch canvas.
"Tempest" was painted mostly with a palette knife on a canvas. Using a variety of oil soft paints, this scene speaks of nature’s fury, the wrath and beauty of the ocean with a symphony of weather shaping the skies above this breathtaking scene.
Inspiration: as an artist who deals with Multiple Sclerosis every day, pain and fatigue are always with me. But God is faithful. I often experience His joy, peace, and presence despite the hardships of life. Paintings allow me to compose and paint with passion, using a variety of palette knives and soft brushes to release the image within.
